Same Owner, Same Great People, Same Great Service
OCTOBER 1, 2025 | NANAIMO, BC | Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln is excited to announce our new name and refreshed identity, marking the next era in our journey. While our name has changed, everything that matters most remains the same: the same female ownership, the same dedicated team, and the exceptional service our community has trusted for nearly three decades.
“Sunshine is more than just a name,” said Dealer Principal and Owner Ann Marie Clark. “It symbolizes our ongoing commitment to growth, community, and creating brighter experiences.”
Ann Marie Clark is widely recognized as a driving force in the automotive industry. She leads Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln (formerly Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln), Family Ford in Parksville, and serves as Vice Chair of the New Car Dealers Association of BC. As a recognized advocate for women within the automotive community, Ann Marie champions female leadership and inspires the next generation of industry innovators. Her successful leadership style is rooted in encouragement, inclusivity, and a genuine passion for uplifting others.
Under Ann Marie’s leadership, Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln continues to embrace the community-first approach that has built its reputation in Nanaimo and across Vancouver Island. From supporting youth sports, local clubs, and animal welfare initiatives, to volunteering time and resources for crisis care, food security, and two annual fundraisers, the dealership takes pride in strengthening the fabric of our region.
“Usually a name change means shifting ownership; but not this time!” David Brockie, Operations Leader shares, “Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln is still led by the same trusted team, and our roots in the community run just as deep. We genuinely feel this new name better represents who we are today.”
With this new name comes a fresh look, but Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln remains grounded in the values that have made us a trusted part of Vancouver Island life: friendly knowledgeable service, a deeply committed staff and a belief that success comes from genuine support and care.
Shoppers, guests, friends and neighbours can continue to expect the same familiar faces and exceptional service at our Nanaimo store; now with a name that shines as brightly as the community we’re honoured to serve.
