Used Ford Inventory

at Sunshine Mountain Ford Lincoln in Nanaimo

A Wide Range of Used Vehicles

Sunshine Mountain Ford carries a large pre-owned inventory at our Nanaimo dealership. Because trade-ins arrive in every make, our used selection includes vehicles from many manufacturers alongside used Fords, giving Island buyers a broad range of body styles, model years, kilometres and price points to compare in one place.

Used Trucks

Used pickups are a significant part of our inventory. Depending on availability, our used truck selection may include Ford F-150 and Super Duty models, Ford Ranger and Maverick pickups, and trucks from other brands, in configurations that include crew cabs, four-wheel drive, towing packages and work-ready setups.

Used SUVs and Crossovers

Our pre-owned SUV inventory ranges from compact crossovers to three-row family SUVs. Depending on what is on the lot, that may include used Ford Escape, Bronco Sport, Explorer and Bronco models, along with SUVs from other manufacturers, many of them with all-wheel drive.

Used Cars, Hybrids and Electric Vehicles

We also carry pre-owned cars for commuters, students, first-time buyers and families looking for a second vehicle, along with used hybrid and electric vehicles for drivers wanting lower fuel costs. Availability varies, so it is worth checking the current listings or telling us what you are looking for.

Used Vans and Commercial Vehicles

Pre-owned cargo vans and commercial vehicles come through regularly, including used Ford Transit vans suitable for trades, delivery and mobile business use.

Buying a Used Vehicle on the Coast

Coastal British Columbia treats vehicles differently than the Interior or eastern Canada. Less road salt is used here, so severe rust is less common, but constant damp finds worn seals and tired brake components. Two things are worth checking on any Island used vehicle: the condition of the underbody, where surface rust is normal but flaking and perforation are not, and brake wear, which wet roads and hills accelerate.

Ask for the vehicle history report before you decide. It shows registration history, reported accidents and any lien registered against the vehicle.

Trade-Ins

We accept trade-ins on any purchase and will appraise your current vehicle while you are here. Applying a trade-in against a purchase also reduces the amount of provincial sales tax you pay in British Columbia, which is worth real money and is frequently overlooked.

Financing a Used Vehicle

Used vehicles can be financed over a range of terms, and our finance team works with several lenders to find the right fit for your situation, including drivers with limited or damaged credit. Certified pre-owned Fords may qualify for manufacturer rate programs that other used vehicles do not.
